White Tail Trail at White Clay Creek State Park offers peaceful hikes through the rolling hills of Delaware's piedmont through meadows, old fields, and woodlands. Swamp Forest Trail at Lums Pond offers a long hike around Delaware's largest freshwater pond. Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge Loop is an 8.3 mile circuit hike on dirt roads that follow Delaware Bay. Enjoy a leisurely interpretive hike on Burton's Island Loop at Delaware Seashore State Park on boardwalks, sand, salt marsh and coastal forest.
